Is this the way cc fraud is dealt with? My story. I have an Amoca Visa that I never use -- zero balance for at least the last eight months. Yesterday, a letter comes saying that there has been unusual activity on my account and that I should call an 800 number immediately. Ok. I call. I'm asked about some very large recent charges ($400, $2000). I say that I did not make them. Fine. Except that was all I was asked (besides my birth date and the last four digits of my SS number)before being told that a new card (with a new number) was on the way.
--- My question to you Fools: Is this all the information that a fraud department would ask me or have I just given information to a "bad guy" pretending to be a "good guy."

Heavens!!! I'm paranoid!
