|Subject: Roth IRA vs. After-Tax 401(k)||Date: 6/29/2000 10:05 PM|

I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I contribute the maximum in pre- tax dollars to my 401(k), plus a substantial amount after tax also. The question: Is there any difference as regarding taxes between a Roth IRA and the after-tax portion of a 401(k)?
Does anyone out there know?
