In the Motley Fool's Investment Tax Guide 2000, on page 38, it states that a proposed change of the Taxpayer Refund and Relief Act of 1999 included an icrease in Roth contributions, and for those over 50, "catch-up contributions of 10% to 50% of the normal contribution limit". Were these changes inacted? If so, which I doubt, when do they go into effect? I called the IRS and the rep couldn't find anything on record. Does anybody know? |
