Subject:  Partner employed by Partnership? Date:  10/27/2000  12:38 AM

As a member/manager of an LLC electing to be taxed as a partnership, I was under the impression I could recieve employee compensation for my services as manager. TurboTax for business, however, states very clearly that a partner of a partnership cannot be an employee of that same partnership. Anyone care to illuminate this spot of darkness in my search for the right form of business for my company.
