Thanks Eric and the others that responded to me..........
when I called the insurance agent today to cancel the policy (which is what I decided to do), I got HEAVY pressure to "reorganize" my coverage to a lesser disability and put the "found" money in an annuity.........
We're meeting later this week, I'm sure the hard sell will continue......but I'm not impressed with annuities.
Plan to keep the real estate a while longer and see how that goes........two of the rentals will be paid off by the time I expect to want to retire, aside from the problems inherent in landlording, will be a nice monthly income. I do plan to live in each for the requisite two years before selling.
