Hi: I think probably the worst mistake I made in investing was buying a brand new Corvette Stingray in 1969. If I had invested that $7,000 I would be a lot better off today. The car was fun to own, but very expensive. Looking back it was a terrible waste of money. I have always regreated it, and also loved it. My first child spelled the end - 3 people cannot ride in a Vette.
