My husband and I have always filed jointly for taxes. We are now in the process of transferring our assets to Trusts (one in his, one in mine name) for estate planning purposes. Will we be able to continue joint filing. Will our tax identification change (e.g. the trust is the one owing taxes?) Any information will be appreciated.
