If the return is a lot greater than 9% the Roth seems to look more attractive for the 15% tax rate (please correct me if I am wrong).
Yep, it would. The only trick is to get that return. :-) It's not impossible, but it's a long way from being a sure bet, either.
(P.S. how do I Italicize text? I can't find the link)
If you wish to italicize a word or phrase, just before that word or phrase type < i > without any spaces between the characters. To end the italics, after the last letter in the word or phrase type < / i > (again without spaces between the characters). To use bold type, just use "b" instead of "i."
