Can I say that I contributed to my IRA and file now and THEN contribute to the IRA before the April 15th deadline? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Yes. The deadline for making your IRA contribution is the deadline for filing the return (without extensions). Doesn't matter that you file the return earlier than the deadline. Regards, Gregg SeaPA |
