I am doing some retirement planning and can't seem to decide on how to invest for a safe and predictable income. I think a Aaa Corporate Bond Portfolio or equivalent bond mutual fund such as Vanguard's High Yield (low risk Junk Bond fund with B+ or better bonds)would be a good compromise. My goals are to preserve my capital and to get around 8% total return from my investment. Any ideas out there???
