Greetings, Oaktreex, and welcome. You asked: Have read MRD requirements and I'm aware of the new tables; however, need help setting up my portfolio for taking out the MRD at age 70. I'm 68 now and have 80% equity, 20% income investment ratio. Do I remain as is and sell off my mutual funds as required for the MRD or reposition investments for more income? That's a personal choice that each of us must make. There's no "right" or "wrong" answer here. Do that which makes you most comfortable. Regards..Pixy |
