Thanks, JABoa and Phil, for taking a look at this question. Two follow-ups: First, are my expenses miscellaneous deductions subject to the 2% floor? This will clearly matter even if I don't win any cash, because the show will, right or wrong, issue a 1099 for the value of the hotel room, plane fare, and per diem. Second, can I deduct driving mileage and meals? Thanks again! --Bob
