intercst: In reality, all the money you paid into Social Security went to pay your parents' and grandparents' Social Security benefits... Not in this family. Grandparents died in mid 50's and parents were in education for most of their careers so Dad got no SS and Mom's is about $10/month. We are definitely net contributors to this system. InParadise |
