Subject:  DRIP in a Roth? Date:  1/7/2002  12:41 PM

Apologies if this is a repeat question, but can't seem to find this answer anywhere...

I was thinking about starting a DRIP with a company that I like for the long term. But I believe that the reinvested dividends would be taxed first, correct?

I was wondering then if it is somehow possible to set up a DRIP within a Roth IRA account to avoid this?

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to accomplish this sort of thing?
