kitchen slave many times to the budding chefs here, it was so great to be served food that I didnt actually have to plan, execute and serve, myself. I've posted this before but I think it's worth doing it again: I have a vision of visiting my kids for dinner someday when they are on their own. They have made a lovely and complex dinner with a variety of exotic and interesting dishes. As they place the serving dishes on the beautifully set table, I calmly look at the offerings and say . . . "Do I have to eat that? What else is there? Can't we order pizza?" ~~ Alison |
