It's not a double dip. IRA custodial fee = fee for filing paperwork with the IRS Account Maintenance Fee = fee for answering phone calls & emails, and sending you your statement If they didn't have these fees, they'd have to set the expense ratio higher. Vanguard is admittedly biased in favor of its big customers, mainly because small investors are so expensive to service. |
