Transfering amounts from one fund to another within the same Roth IRA account will not incur any tax penalties so long as they stay in the IRA.

What else might bite you? Are there any transaction fees? Early redemption "penalty" fees?

You might also want to consider if you'd loose out on any accrued interest or dividends if you redeem all your shares in a fund prior to a payment date.
