Oh, the Witnesses pay taxes. Although they profess a belief against governments they still have to pay taxes, that's the law and there is no getting around it. Still doesn't change my viewpoint tho it may change others. To me they have to pay tho probably wouldn't if they didn't have to. My feeling is based on the consistancy of their beliefs. There are plenty of other groups that also pay taxes but for reasons related to the religions do not take advantage of government programs. If your religion says tho that you have nothing to do with government you don't use the fact that taxes are paid as an excuse to use the government programs. You basically view taxes as "rendering unto Caesar" and view it as money down the drain.
