Greetings Sepulvida,

I believe I saw a message on the NOK board a few weeks ago announcing TMF's intention to add to NOK (Fool 50 Index). Did this happen?

Nokia was one of the original 50 as noted in http://www.fool.com/now50/now50info.htm which is dated January 3,2000.

There was a note that the Rule Maker portfolio was buying Nokia back on June 12, 2002 on http://www.fool.com/portfolios/rulemaker/2002/rulemaker020612.htm.

If so then I'd like to know why TMF chose to do so just now.

Read that Rule Maker article for why they are adding to an already existing position.

Can you point me to some discussion regarding the desire/decision to add?

http://www.fool.com/portfolios/rulemaker/2002/rulemaker020612.htm, http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?mid=17358551, and http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?mid=17358299 are a few starting points on the discussion and aftermath with the last 2 being the start of threads about it.
