Hello, my wife's Non-profit has a 50% matching plan for her 401K. Although she contributes to her 401K, I do not think she is anywhere close to her maximum which I would like to figure out.

What is the calculation for how much someone can put into their 401K plan? Is it based soley on her income or on our combined income? How does that effect any contributions she may make to a Roth IRA?
