I disagree with Lorenzo2. On pages 131 and 123 of Pub 17, it clearly says that a married couple can contribute up to the joint amount of their earned income, not to exceed $6000, $6500 if one is 50 or older, and $7000 if both are 50 or older. It seems Turbo Tax is wrong. Since I don't use Turbo Tax, I don't know how you override the limt that it is imposing. Good Luck! Terry |
