I have owned my house for 9 years and it's doubled in value. I would like to add my husband to title and change from "married woman as sole and separate property" to "joint tenants with right of survivorship." Does anybody know whether this is considered a "change of ownership" that will trigger an increase in property taxes under Prop 13? Thanks! |
