Hey Fools, thanks for all of the advice! I've been reading fool.com since last semester, and have held stocks at one time or another since middle school (granted I didn't really knwo what I was doing).

To address the issue of which IRA, I agree with all fo you about investing in a Roth. I can guarantee that the $7.50/hr I am making this summer puts me in a lower tax bracket than I will be in when I want to withdraw this money.

I plan to start the IRA as well as setting up a regular PortFoolio once I do enough research and make enough money to have a little chunk to start with (probably around September).

For you other college people, it's good to hear that I'm not the only one thinking about stuff like this at my age. I'd be really interested to hear any advice you guys have. If there isn't a college board on this site, there should be!
