This is what always bothered me about seatbelt length---just a few more inches of length would "cover" a lot of people. A very large person can very easily sit in a car, but need just a few more inches of seatbelt (especially if they have short legs and need to move the seat up a bit). How expensive could a few inches be?

I would refuse to buy a car where I or my regular passengers needed an extender. Some of the excuses from companies that refuse to provide extenders is that the integrity of the seatbelt is lost with an extender. Yet other companies gladly provide them.
