Got a rough estimate on cost/linear ft. ?
Just got these figures yesterday from Pacific Sales for Caesarstone www.caesarstoneus.com :
Countertop 0-29" wide: $8.50 per linear inch
Countertop 45-60" wide: $12.90 per linear inch
Bull nose edge detailing: $1.95 per linear inch
Backsplash 0-6" tall: included
Backsplash 7-20" tall: $4.50 per linear inch
To make a trivet with finished edges from the material left over from your sink cutout: $85
The salesman said this typically boils down to around $51 per square foot (not including edge detailing).
Caesarstone has a bunch of colors that are available in a polished finish, like Silestone www.silestoneusa.com does. Caesarstone also has 4 colors available in a honed finish, which isn't so reflective and gives quite a different look.
