We are choosing Britain because it's much easier to travel from there, our taxes will be negligible, and most importantly, our family are still there.
If you are US citizens, can you explain the negligible taxes comment?
If you mean because you will be retired and generating minimum income, then I understand. If it's from living overseas, then I don't. US citizens are subject to income taxes regardless of where they live or where they earn income.
