Keep those wedding costs down! A wedding is just a party, but way too many cost people big time in a hit to their net worth.

I couldn't agree more. We're going to keep it really simple and the guest list short. I understand that it is an important day, but for me it's all about the marriage, not the wedding. In fact, I voted for eloping, but future MIL put the kabosh on that real quick. It might be our wedding, but I realize the day isn't only about us. It's a celebration for the whole family.

Anyhow, I didn't make this clear in my previous post, but I wanted to thank all of you Fools. I was always careful with my money but a little lost. Here I found other people who think like me and gave me some direction to make my accomplishments. I really appreciate it. Thank you.
