My wife and I paid for our own wedding and kept costs around $500 (21 years ago). We also paid for our wedding, but I went a bit overboard and demanded a church wedding with a limo, etc. We spent $3500. Hubby's major complaint was that we sent the limo to pick his brother up from the airport (cheaper than a taxi and the only folks that had the time, didn't know how to get to the airport), and his brother got a longer ride in the limo than we did. |
