How do you mix that though - 401(k) money and post 401(k) money in an IRA? And I realise I was using the wrong terminology, I was just so livid that the certain brokerage did this, that I couldn't think correctly. No, they took the money from a 403(b), put it in the Rollover IRA that I had and then moved it, w/ my knowledge to an IRA that I had mistakenly thought needed to be kept seperate from a Traditional IRA. When I called them today, they said "we did this because our operation's center told us to and no, you can't talk to the person who authorized this"

I assume the SEC is the next step in this?

thanks in advance
