I've been looking at countertops, too. I went to Expo and was given an estimate of $5800 for Silestone. (They price per sq. ft.) Then a friend refered me to another place called California Countertops. (That's ALL they do.) Their price for a synthetic quartz was $3562. (They price per LINEAR foot.) I suggest you find a contractor who specializes in just one thing -- and skip HOme Depot or Expo. They'll just contract out the work to the same guy you could go to on your own, and you'll save a lot by skipping the middle man. |
