This is my ten thousandth post to The Motley Fool Discussion Boards. In honor of the occassion, and for lack of anything better to do, I've gone back over my records and come up with some interesting statistics, along with a few personal observations.

I joined TMF on January 20, 2000, or about 52 months ago. That works out to an average of about 6.4 post/day. I don't remember exactly when I started posting on a regular or frequent basis, but I'm sure that more recently I average something like 20-30 posts every day.

I have 6,694 Recs for my posts, and my current Recs/Post Ratio is at 4.80. I've never either grasped or put much stock in the concept of Recs. My most highly Rec'd Posts generally didn't seem like anything special to me, while my personal favorites often go virtually ignored in the formal recognition department. Go figure?

As for Favorite Fools, I have 90 names on my Profile Page. The Profile also shows that I'm listed on 102 others' Favorites List. There are 50 names that correlate. Some of the names are now long gone from TMF Boards, some are missed, some forgotten, and others
