Thanks for all your comments. I started collecting Series EE in 1985 or so, so none of them are due to mature anytime soon. I wish I could say I was "young," but I'm not (54). I quit buying EE through payroll deductions in the early 90s (I found better investing opportunties). I have some time in August to conduct a review of my options, so I will weigh all the suggestions made on this board and hopefully do what is best for my situation. Sorting the bonds by their maturity dates may proof helpful for when I get older to prevent the problem described in one of the posts in this thread.
