French oilfield services firm Technip (TECF.PA) said on Wednesday it had won a 130 million euro ($168.7 million) contract from U.S. energy group Marathon (MRO) to install a sub-sea system for Norway's Alvheim oil field.

Marathon Petroleum Company (Norway), a unit of the U.S. based group, acts on behalf of Marathon Petroleum Norge AS which holds a 65 percent interest in the Alvheim development and serves as its operator, Technip said.
