2old, Thanks for the reference to the other book. Not sure if I am up to the math but I will see what the book 'looks like' by browsing it. Volatility noted. Simple version is the stock market with does slightly better then the bond market but has wider swings. I think I read somewhere that REITs on a 10 year average had the same yield/performance as the S&P 500 but with half the volatility. Piece of trivia! John |
