We're not all the way there, but creeping gradually towards the concept... We take time off, travel, do stuff, and spend money "we probably shouldn't"... It's a balancing act between "no one is promised tomorrow", and "just make sure you're capable of handling the bills for as long as there is a tomorrow"...
