There's a bus stop right across from my apartment, and I've never seen a bus there. I've never even seen anyone waiting for a bus there. I figured that being so close to a bus stop, I might as well see if I could take advantage of it, so I looked up the schedule and map for the route servicing that stop. It turns out that the entire route is to serve a fairly large corporate campus nearby. The morning route runs once and has exactly two stops: downtown and there. The afternoon route runs twice and has exactly two stops: there and downtown.

First of all, seeing as there's virtually nothing else in the area besides a few apartments and that company, shouldn't this be a service provided by the employer, rather than the city? Since it only runs one way, even those of us who live in the apartments can't use the line to go downtown in the morning or come home at night! And if that isn't ridiculous enough, the times that this bus runs? The one morning run is at 6:00-6:45 am, and the two in the afternoon are at 5:30-6:00 and 6:30-7:00. So even if you're one of the select few people who live downtown and want to commute out to the edge of town for work each day, you'd better plan on working 11-hour days to do it!

Am I missing something, or is this one of the most worthless systems you've ever heard of?!
