Greetings everyone.

I just wanted to say thanks again. A couple of years ago, I earned my architecture license. This year, my spouse has earned her Medical License. Some of her fellow residents mentioned that she could deduct the expenses associated with this. Because of my experience here a couple of years ago, I was able to chime in and say, "I don't think so! Let's look it up in publication 17." Lo and behold, there in the right hand column, on page 214 of 322 in the PDF (p212 in print) under Professional Accreditation Fees, medical license fees for initial licensing are NOT deductible.

One has to be very careful about "free advise."
