Yes, arrete, you have me pegged. My grandfather was from central Mississippi and his immediate family subsequently moved to Memphis, so I spent much time just down the street from Graceland as a kid. "Gramps" loved to travel and loved to take his grandchildren with him. I remember mostly ham and pecan pie and sweetened iced tea, no turkey.

I guess I was trying to disect the phrase literally, thinking of pulleys, and was stumped by it. Not as multi-regional as "drum stick". ;o)
