Overall, we must remember "you get what you pay for" and the modest costs (particularly for the all you can eat for $15.00) is a real value. B&H has allowed me to build a very diversified portfolio of securities over the last four years with very modest transaction costs.
LG, I couldn't agree more. On numbers alone, it is, in fact, a real value. My point was more that you should know what you're getting into before you jump in.
And I felt the same way about my diversified portfolio...until I tried to transfer out, and realized that each trade would cost me $2.99 (the $15/unlimited trades is not an option for IRA customers).
But live and learn, I guess... :)
