Here's a real case, what do I do? On October 25/2005, I held 1,000,000 shares of CYBT.OB, value $0.02 per share for a total value of $20,000.00 The next day my web broker, Interactive Brokers, advised me of a "reverse split". The result is I now held 2,000 shares of CBCL.OB,value of $0.02 per share for a total value of $40.00. My understanding of stock splits is that individual share values change but total POSITION values never do. This situation is so extreme, am I missing something or do I find a lawyer? Appreciate any "guidance" you can give me. Regards. |
