There are two entities here: ARLP and AHGP. ARLP is what you own. It is an equity interest in the operating company that actually mines the coal. AHGP is a separate company. It owns the general partner of the ARLP entity (the general partner is who actual manages the business day to day) and it also owns some ARLP stock. AHGP is going public. The unusual thing is that AHGP is also set up as an MLP; usually they are just regular C-corps.

If I am not being clear, just say so and I will try to explain.
