Hi There Fooldom,
I'm a newbie investor trying to minimize the impact a sharp rise in inflation or a drop in the market could have on my portfolio. I'm considering investing $30,000 cash (50% of my non-retirement assets)in Vanguard's VBIIX and VIPSX funds, but just not sure what would be the best split between the two, or if those funds are even the wisest of choices. I'm 26 and investing right now on at least a three year horizon.
Any adivce, comments, etc?
