My feeling is that the surplus was not "squandered", it was soaked up by the war on terror, which we did not start, but must pursue unless we wish to live under islamic domination. Even if I could get $250 k per year in SS, I would not want my children to live in a muslim country.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but your children already live in a muslim country.

And a christian one.

And buddhist.

And atheist.

And hindu.

And ba'hai.

And all the other faiths our constitution guarantees people are free to follow and express without government hindrance.

I suspect what you really mean is a "fascist theocracy". Don't fool yourself into thinking that only muslims can form that type of government.
