TD Ameritrade is a great online broker. They have no maintenance fees and low trade costs, $9.99 a trade.
Also, some basic advise on investing in your Roth IRA. If you don't have a lot of expertise in picking individual stocks, consider an index fund. They follow the S&P 500 and have overall returns that beat most mutual funds. Before the the costs are low within these funds, the savings are passed onto you with higher returns each year.
I've been considering Vanguard Index Fund. VFINX but I guess there are others. I'm about to roll over my IRA and Roth IRA from Ameriprise because they are killing me with all their fees.
