They just choose not to.
What has never been explained to my satisfaction (nor, as near as I can figure out, anyone else's, other than people who get a paycheck from Capital One) is why Capital One thinks that it can't be bothered to offer basic information that the other credit agencies provide.
Yes, I know, they have some incredibly expensive, valuable, secret code that allows them to make millions of dollars by never giving credit limits.
I still don't believe it.
If there's any company in America that had made millions off of secret codes, it's American Express. And AmEx doesn't seem to have any problem in announcing credit limits.
