What has never been explained to my satisfaction (nor, as near as I can figure out, anyone else's, other than people who get a paycheck from Capital One) is why Capital One thinks that it can't be bothered to offer basic information that the other credit agencies provide.

Given that I too get a paycheck from COF I guess I won't be of help either.

But, as far as I understand it with my peon level status, they don't want other companies to pull credit reports, see a brand new COF card, and reverse engineer the credit policy.

But then again I'm not insider level or anything :)
