On the advice of my sister, I just rolled my entire 401(k) and 403(b) over from Fidelity into a Standard IRA at Scottrade. My sister has done very well with her investments and she likes Scottrade very much. I wasn't unhappy with Fidelity, but I was under-invested there and found it difficult to get good counsel.
So now I've done the rollover, and I have this huge hunk of cash sitting in there, and I have to figure out which funds I want to put it in. I've got a rough allocation pie chart I've drawn up, but that's it. Time to get out the retirement investment guides and go through all of the calculations. I have my weekend cut out for me.
Does anyone have any favorite guidance resources to share?
