1. Yes or a near equivilent.

2. Absolutely. I have 10 years on you but I do about 50% international in my retirement accounts. I have my wife's pension (she is a few years younger) 100% international.

3. At your age, I don't think it matters much. You will dollar-cost-average so now is as good of a time as any.

4. Doesn't really matter. You should do fine with Vanguard. As you know, returns and fees are the bottom line on "like" investments.
