I am interested in starting an investment partnership with a fellow co-worker for some family members. We wanted to style it after Warren Buffet's original partnership. Charge fees or percentage of gains for managing the monies. However, the SEC and state laws have changed greatly since Warren's first partnership.
1. Does anyone have any experience, advice, concerns or comments?
2. Is this possible if I am not a CFA or have any license?
3. LLC or LP
Thanks in advance,
