I'd like to thank everyone who asked a question or gave an answer. I second that. Off the top of my head I can recall two things I learned this year: that all Roth distributions, not just nonqualified ones, are subject to the ordering rules and a revelation of how easy a 4797 can be if you don't let it intimidate you. My VITA site's last session was Saturday, but I volunteered to go into the main DC library today to help out on last day. What a zoo! They're set up for close to 20 preparers, and the place was packed. I spent some time early on doing intake, then moved to prep and quality review. Luckily there were several of us who could do quality review, so things really kept moving. Just got home and am settling into my first of the day. Phil |
